1. Are your services covered by medical insurance companies?
We have confirmation from Manulife, iA Financial Group, Green Shield and Blue Cross Alberta for coverage of Nutritional Consultations. These companies, as well as a few smaller insurers, all require the client/employer to have chosen ‘nutritional counseling’ as a policy option. If employers have not chosen ‘nutritional counseling’ in the group policy, then it might not be covered. Please ensure to call your insurance company beforehand.

It is your responsibility to understand the terms of your personal or workplace insurance coverage prior to payment of our services.

In the event you are covered by your insurance provider you are responsible for providing our office with the details of the type of invoice required and you are also responsible for submitting this invoice to your insurance provider. We do not handle processing of insurance coverage through our office.

2. What is my participation in the wellness process?
As part of our protocols, we want to make sure you as the client understand that we are here to provide you with the tools and support to achieve your health goals and not here to ‘fix’ you. The degree to which you experience a shift in your health is dependent upon your willingness to participate in your own process of health rejuvenation. We will guide you with our knowledge and expertise; however, it is up to you to implement the changes. We are here to empower YOU and help YOU towards greater health and wellbeing.

3. What is your appointment cancellation process?
• If you do choose to book an appointment, kindly give at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot make or wish to cancel your appointment. Cancelling your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled time or a failure to show up to your appointment is considered a missed appointment.
• An administrative fee of $50 will be charged to your account and must be paid before scheduling a new appointment. Missed appointments due to emergency or illness are exempt from the missed appointment administration fee.
• If you are late for a scheduled appointment your appointment will not be extended to accommodate. Please be on time so that we can make the most of your session.
